Perfect !!!

These gloves are perfect to keep my little fingers warm and ready to take a picture !!

Photog with cold fingers...

I spend winters camping and shooting in the Alps, at 2'000 to 2'500 meters, if the weather conditions allow, more. I tried a lot of different glove models from various sources from renown brands, not with much success. I already own Markhof, but they were not warm enough for me at 10-15°C below zero. I have observed, that generally mittens kept my fingers more warm than gloves, so I gave Skadi a try. They proved perfectly suited for temperatures mentioned, even in windy weather. I am keeping them :-) At about zero °C, Skadi starts to be too warm, but for such temperatures I already own Markhofs.
As yet, I have to get used to handle the camera with fingertips only, but I must say the grip is tight and sure, no problem at all. With prolonged use, I reckon the material gets more flexible. The combination of the inner glove and the mitten is ingenious. I often take mittens off and the possibility to let them hang on the wrist is practical.
Skadi mittens are not too voluminous, I have seen huge mittens/gloves which were less warm and not suitable to hold anything, let alone a camera, and handle it. Very good product at a reasonable price, the shipment was quick, communication nice. Nice and professional. Thanks!

Gloves did not fit

Gloves did not fit so I gave them to someone with smaller hands

Touchscreen gloves…

Skadi outer gloves are amazing. Only issue I have is the touchscreen capability of the inner gloves isn’t the best. I’m using them for drone photography and need to touch my phone screen frequently. It relies on more of a flat finger press than a finger tip press with isn’t super accurate on little phone buttons. Not a deal breaker though. Would recommend.

The only option for real comfort and “toastiness”

I suffer from severe cold hands. To the point where it impairs my thinking and can’t operate. For some reason, normal gloves, as in the ones with fingers, seem to make it even worse at times. This Skadi mitts are amazing, not only do they keep my paws toasty but using the camera is very comfortable and easy. 10/10

Please note, our gloves are designed to fit snuggly to give you the best camera feel without compromising on warmth. If you prefer a looser fit, please consider to go a size up.

As we learn more and more about gloves we also learn that all hands are different. Some people have long skinny fingers and slim wrists, others have wide hands with short fingers.

Our gloves wont fit all even with the right measurements from the sizing chart – but we try!

What size should I get if I'm between sizes?

For many, the best option will be to go up a size if your measurements are in between sizes.

If you are between sizes or if your hands do not fit into the measurements on our sizing chart, we recommend prioritizing the fit for the girth measurement. The girth is the most important measurement and if the girth size on the glove is too small, you won't be able to fit the glove.

Should I size up for my liner glove?

If you’re considering pairing a liner glove with your photography gloves, we recommend choosing the same size liner as photography glove. We designed our liners to be thin and fit inside of our photography gloves so we recommend your normal size in liners. There are two exceptions to this:

Exception #1: If you are at the very end of the ratio size in the sizing chart, e.g. 1 mm from being a size Large, then we advise going up a glove size if you plan to often wear the liner with the gloves.

Exception #2: If your personal preference is to wear fairly loose gloves, then you should also go up a size when adding a liner. We don't recommend this as you will compromise dexterity with loose gloves and our priority is best possible camera feel. But you know best what you like!

House tip: Make sure to choose a liner size that is snug/tight on your hand for the best Fliptech performance when wearing liners and gloves together.
