Wonderful for a small woman's hands

I'm very pleased with the W Nordic gloves. Vallerret was great from start to finish, clearly answering my questions about Markhof 2.0 and W's Nordic. I finally settled on the Nordic in Small, as I am a Raynaud's sufferer and will often need to use glove liners. The XS did fit but was very snug (my measurements below in case it helps someone else). I am most excited to be able to use my phone without removing an entire glove, as well as being able to go without 2 layers of gloves in some conditions for the first time in years! I was also concerned about the wool lining of the gloves, as I'm normally unable to tolerate wool, but true to Vallerret's word, the merino lining is indeed high quality enough that I experience no itching at all -- it's borderline miraculous. I've only done short tests with the gloves in roughly freezing to slightly above conditions, but so far I'm extremely pleased and would definitely recommend the purchase.

My measurements: 3” across palm, 6.75-7” around, usually XS. Dominant hand is 6.75” around and 6.5” from tip of middle finger to first wrist crease. Small in Nordic was a better fit than XS, which felt overall tight and a hair short in that size.

Hi Laura! I'm happy to hear we were able to help in choosing the right gloves. Only toasty warm hands and great photography adventured this winter :D

Woman's gloves look good, more after the Holidays

My order for Woman's Nordic Photography Gloves arrived a couple of days ago. They are a Christmas gift for my wife, so this is a preliminary review upon arrival. I will update it once she has received them and shot with them.

On first view, the gloves are high quality. Construction and workmanship is really good. Plus, the index finger and thumb access is easy to use and closes back up easily once the finger is drawn back inside.

We shoot as a blog team. This is the first year that we will be shooting year around, so I wanted both of us to be able to shoot in comfort. I ordered a pair for myself as well. I think that these gloves will do exactly what I want. Glad that I found them.

Please note, our gloves are designed to fit snuggly to give you the best camera feel without compromising on warmth. If you prefer a looser fit, please consider to go a size up.

As we learn more and more about gloves we also learn that all hands are different. Some people have long skinny fingers and slim wrists, others have wide hands with short fingers.

Our gloves wont fit all even with the right measurements from the sizing chart – but we try!

What size should I get if I'm between sizes?

For many, the best option will be to go up a size if your measurements are in between sizes.

If you are between sizes or if your hands do not fit into the measurements on our sizing chart, we recommend prioritizing the fit for the girth measurement. The girth is the most important measurement and if the girth size on the glove is too small, you won't be able to fit the glove.

Should I size up for my liner glove?

If you’re considering pairing a liner glove with your photography gloves, we recommend choosing the same size liner as photography glove. We designed our liners to be thin and fit inside of our photography gloves so we recommend your normal size in liners. There are two exceptions to this:

Exception #1: If you are at the very end of the ratio size in the sizing chart, e.g. 1 mm from being a size Large, then we advise going up a glove size if you plan to often wear the liner with the gloves.

Exception #2: If your personal preference is to wear fairly loose gloves, then you should also go up a size when adding a liner. We don't recommend this as you will compromise dexterity with loose gloves and our priority is best possible camera feel. But you know best what you like!

House tip: Make sure to choose a liner size that is snug/tight on your hand for the best Fliptech performance when wearing liners and gloves together.
