WHO IS COLBY?
Colby Brown is a photographer, photo educator, and author based out of Cresco, Pennsylvania. Specializing in wildlife, travel, and humanitarian photography, his photographic portfolio spans the four corners of the globe. Throughout his work, one can see that he combines his love of the natural world with his fascination with its diverse cultures. Each of his photographs tries to tell a story of life on this planet. Colby is also the founder of The Giving Lens, a humanitarian photography organization.
Colby leads photo workshops all over the globe, passionately guiding aspiring photographers as they explore the diverse beauty of all seven continents in their pursuit of capturing stunning images. His workshops provide the perfect blend of hands-on experience and expert advice, inspiring participants to enhance their skills while discovering breathtaking landscapes and cultures around the world.

Even if you can't join Dave on one of his incredible workshops, his dedication to teaching photography at all levels is always worth following. You can catch a glimpse of his tips for great landscape photography in this video by our friends at B&H, filmed in Vallerret's "neighborhood" of the stunning Lofoten Islands — it's the perfect taster of what makes his teaching so special amidst those breathtaking landscapes.
COLBY'S FAVOURITE GLOVE
Colby Brown is - next to others depending on the workshop and the environment - lately rocking the Hatchet Photography Glove, knowing that when it comes to capturing the world's most remote and rugged landscapes, reliability and durability are non-negotiable. The Hatchet has become his go-to choice, providing the protection and functionality he needs to tackle the harshest environments without compromise.

In addition to being a Vallerret Ambassador, Colby is also a Sony Artisan, SanDisk Professional and Shimoda Design Ambassador.
