Great mitt for cold weather photography
The Markhof Pro V3 Photographer Gloves have arrived, fit well, and allow my fingers to “escape” enough to operate my camera. Now I am waiting for cooler weather to give them a real workout.
I have small hands and gloves usually never fit. Much to my surprise, these fit absolutely perfect! I will be taking them to Iceland for a photo shoot next week. I am so glad I have found these. Once I find something that fits, I stay with that brand for life.
Used them for a trip to the Arctic (summer time) and they work as advertised. Enough of the fingers and thumb are exposed that I had not problem using my camera. The cuff straps came in handy when I needed quick access to my entire hands to hold or grab things.
Birding in Nome in June, is still a freezing proposition. Ten hours out searching I was pretty comfortable with these gloves, temps were 30-50 . I used the size link on the website to order, but the smalls seemed tight overall. I measured for a small. Returned them and ordered the mediums, I think much better for comfort. I will give them a workout next winter. The magnetic design is clever, to pop open your thumb and pointer finger tips. Both left and right hands have this option. Seem to be well made and look cool, I bought the olive green gloves.
