I used them a week ago while photographing birds on the North Coast of Massachusetts by -4˚C/27˚F and today again by -2˚C/27˚F. My hands felt warm and comfortable, using the different knobs and buttons on the camera were easy. It is always pleasant to feel warm and comfortable so you can focus on what matters to you. I haven't used these in the field yet but I like them so far. Fit perfect, I ordered M, lots of great features and if they preforms as good as they look. I'm going to be very happy.

I bought them as a Xmas gift for my photographer wife. But M sized gloves are too large for her. So, I have them now, and man they kept my hands toasty in the past week’s deep freeze. Oh, and she now has S sized gloves. She tells me they are spot-on.

I’ve tried many so-called “insulated” gloves over five decades, and this is the first set of gloves that have truly kept my hands warm in near-zero (F) temps. Great for photography, as designed, but also a welcome addition while shoveling snow.
