The combination of a windproof fleece liner and a waterproof shell gives you the flexibility to adapt to different weather conditions. Use the fleece liner for warmth and comfort during milder days, and when the rain or snow starts falling, simply slip on the waterproof shell to keep your hands dry and protected and keep on charging.

Flip-Tech Fingertips for Precision Control
Each glove is equipped with three flip-tech fingertips (or "Tri-Flip-Tech" as we like to say), allowing you to expose your thumb, index, and middle fingers with ease. The finger caps can be held back with elastic straps. This feature enables you to maintain optimal dexterity and precision control when operating your camera or touchscreen devices.

Great gloves

Now as the days get shorter and the temperatures drop lower, around 4-5 degrees C, I was able to use the Milford gloves. They are really great gloves with a very good fit. I really like the fact, that they have touch sensitive fingertips. The three flip-tech fingertips are great for fast operation of the camera and other tiny stuff. My hands are kept warm, while my feet were freezing. Good job and thank you for great well thought out products. Greetings from Switzerland

So far, so good

My Vallerret gloves arrived without damage and they are as described in the catalog. They fit well as the bottom layer glove and have a water-proof over-glove.
I have not yet used them in the field but i am planning both Arctic and Antarctic adventures so they will be used in extreme conditions. The only concern that I experienced was whether the finger-tip covers will be sufficiently designed for multiple usage; they appear to be well designed but only time will tell.
ATM, they look to be a good product at a reasonable price.

For extreme temperatures we recommend a glove with more insulation, like our Markhof Pro V3 glove. You can also pair them with a Power Stretch Pro Liner underneath for an extra layer of warmth. Stay warm and have a great trip!

Comfortable, Functional & Warm

Decided to buy Small size based on previous glove purchases of Medium Markhof & Hatchet. According to the size guide, I’ve previously ordered Medium but I’ve found most of the fingers too big (based on tip of middle finger to wrist length).
I decided to buy the Milford to use in the warmer UK weather and as an option to wear under the Skadi mitt.
I plumped for the Small size given the fit of the Medium Hatchet & Markhof and am so pleased I did.
I’ve only used them walking in the UK so far but I can see that having the flap on the middle finger is going to be a great help - I can use middle & index fingers and thumb to operate my camera. Having the option of using either middle finger of index (or both) gives the option of alternating between the 2 fingers in the cold.
I’m hoping to tour Senja next year so will have a better idea of just how useful the Milfords are at that time.
But, for now, they’re definitely worth the purchase and inclusion in my photography (and walking) kitbags
